Urgent Neurology First-Seizure Clinic: UCLH

First-seizure referrals should be sent directly to the trust's first-seizure clinics (as NICE guidelines suggest rapid review and assessment).
The consultants would be happy to discuss any referrals and usually state the eligibility criteria below.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- First seizure within three months
- Not currently on treatment for epilepsy
- No previous neurology out-patient review of first seizure
- Possibility of cardiogenic syncope has been reasonably excluded
- Local resident (or non-local resident who might reasonably have ongoing care at the referral destination)
