Neurology: RFL

NCL Wide

NCL GPs can access urgent neurology advice at RFH from an on-call specialist registrar. This service is intended to complement the advice and guidance (A&G) available via e-RS. Call the Royal Free Hospital main switchboard on 020 7794 0500 and ask to bleep 2548 (8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday). Out-of-hours advice will be managed by the medical team.

If the advice indicates that the patient requires a referral, refer via e-RS.

For non-urgent cases, use the A&G channels or consider a community neuroscience multidisciplinary team discussion.

The neurology department at Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital deals with several medical conditions, alongside general neurology.
