Ultrasound Imaging: Finchley Memorial Hospital CDC
NCL WideUltrasound appointments are available for GP direct access.
The following ultrasound scans are available: abdomen, abdominal wall, head and neck, kidney, urinary and bladder (KUB), testes, groins, thyroid, and gynaecology.
- Appointments: Monday to Sunday, 8am-8pm.
Patient results
Results are provided back to the referrer and GP within two working days for non-urgent reports or 24 hours for urgent findings, or provided direct to emergency department of the patient's choice if urgent or life-threatening (a copy of the report will also be sent to the refer and GP). If not received enquire by email.

Inclusions
- adults aged 18+
- ambulant or partially ambulant
Exclusions
- children and young people (<18)
- transport patients
- obstetrics
- claustrophobic people
- people attending appointments with children under the age of 16
