In this section you will find information relating to safety, welfare and advice how to maintain compliances for your job role whether you are in a permanent or locum position.

The Care Quality Commission does not have a full list of mandatory training for members of the practice team, but the minimum mandatory training for all staff includes:

  • anaphylaxis; annually
  • BLS (basic life support), AED (automated external defibrillators); annually
  • chaperone awareness; five yearly
  • conflict resolution; three yearly
  • data security awareness/ Information Governance/ GDPR (General data protection regulation); annually
  • duty of candour; two0yearly
  • equality, diversity and human rights; three yearly
  • fire safety; two yearly
  • health and safety; three yearly
  • infection prevention control; three yearly
  • Mental Capacity Act; three yearly
  • Deprivation of Liberty Standards; three yearly
  • moving and handling; three yearly
  • preventing radicalisation; three yearly
  • safeguarding adults; three yearly
  • safeguarding children; three yearly
  • sepsis; annually
  • whistleblowing; two yearly.
