Urgent Suspected Cancer: Gynaecology

NCL Wide

When making an urgent suspected cancer (USC) referral (previously known as two-week waits or 2WW), please ensure your patient understands that they have been referred on a suspected cancer pathway and that they should make themselves available for diagnostic tests and outpatient appointments for the next 28 days.

Urgent suspected cancer referrals for gynaecology provide diagnostic assessments and consultations for potential endometrial, cervical or ovarian cancer cases.

Gynaecology cancer services are located at Barnet Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, North Middlesex University Hospital, University College Hospital and Whittington Hospital. The surgical and oncological treating centre is University College Hospital.

Further guidance is available via Consultant Connect.
