Transient Ischaemic Attack Clinic: UCLH

The Rapid Assessment Transient Ischaemic Attack (TIA) clinic runs daily (seven days a week).
Where TIA is a plausible diagnosis, patients can be referred to outpatient investigations at Basil Samuel Outpatients Department, National Hospital for Neurology.
You can check for the nearest TIA unit using the London Stroke Unit Lookup tool.
How to Refer
Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit Specialist Registrar
If the patient is not currently symptomatic but high-risk TIA, call the hyper-acute stroke unit specialist registrar.

If the patient is not currently symptomatic but is low-risk TIA, complete the Transient Ischaemic Attack Referral - UCLH form and email to UCLH.tianeuroclinic@nhs.net
