Breathe - It's About Living is a flexible service offering support and advice to people across Camden and Islington who wish to stop smoking. The service has been provided by Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust since April 2023.

Breathe offers a three-tiered service, to ensure smokers receive the best support according to their preferences and personal circumstances. The service is accessible through a range of face-to-face appointments in venues across Camden and Islington, as well as via telephone or live video link.

Breathe also offers evidence-based stop smoking training for professionals and volunteers.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

  • aged 12 or older
  • live, work, study or are registered with a GP in the boroughs of Camden or Islington
  • motivated to stop smoking.

Exclusions

  • already receive stop smoking support through another service
  • under 12 years old
  • want support to stop vaping and are not current tobacco smokers
  • not motivated to stop smoking.
