A Locally Commissioned Service (LCS) between Camden and Islington Public Health and Community Pharmacies in Islington.

Pharmacies signed up to the LCS deliver tier two stop smoking support, consisting of a structured stop smoking intervention of six one-to-one sessions of behavioural support and pharmacotherapy. Staff delivering the LCS are trained to nationally recognised standards for stop-smoking practitioners.

Onward referral to the smoker’s GP or to the Breathe stop smoking service is arranged when appropriate. More information can be accessed on the Breathe website.
