Patient information leaflets

There are two different patient information leaflets available (see right to download).

The first is for patients who are switching to the NCL preferred GnRH analogue (triptorelin) and being transferred to primary care for administration of their GnRH analogue injection. The second is for patients who are staying on their current GnRH analogue (goserelin or leuprorelin) and being transferred to primary care for their GnRH analogue injections.

Need more appointment cards?

Ipsen has produced bespoke credit card sized appointment cards for GPs or practice nurses to give to patients requiring these GnRH analogue injections. If you would like some cards or need more, email medinfo.uk-ie@ipsen.com with your name, practice address and the number of appointment cards you need and these will be sent to you by post.

Training videos on giving GnRH injections

There are currently three different types of GnRH analogue injection, all of which are being used across NCL. Initially you may find that patients are on any of these injections. For more resources such as videos and other information on how to administer each one, click on the relevant link to the right.
