Domiciliary phlebotomy service is available from NMUH for housebound patients.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
Patients registered with an Enfield GP who are:
- care home residents
- housebound
- a resident in the following postcodes
- N9, N11, N13, N14, N18, N21, EN1, EN2, EN3, EN4 and EN8 (EN8 Enfield area only).
Exclusions
- under the age of 18 years
- not housebound
- not a resident in Enfield.
How to Refer
EMIS form
Referral methods: Email
Appointments for this non-urgent service are made via email. Complete the Domiciliary Phlebotomy Referral (Enfield postcodes) – NMH and send to northmid.phlebotomydomiciliary@nhs.net.
The referral must clearly state the reason the patient is housebound (e.g. dementia, frailty, multiple sclerosis, lung cancer). Referrals submitted without this information will automatically be rejected, and additional details will be required.
