The National Domestic Violence Helpline is for women experiencing domestic abuse or for family, friends, professionals, and others calling on their behalf.
The helpline is staffed 24/7 by expert, trained female staff and volunteers. All calls are confidential. Translation is available in multiple languages, including British Sign Language.
The service can:
- refer callers to emergency safe accommodation
- provide information on legal, welfare and housing rights
- provide online crisis and safety planning
- provide emotional support and refer callers to counselling services.
