This page provides basic information about a service suitable for self referral. Direct patients to the service provider using the details below.

The National Domestic Violence Helpline is for women experiencing domestic abuse or for family, friends, professionals, and others calling on their behalf.

The helpline is staffed 24/7 by expert, trained female staff and volunteers. All calls are confidential. Translation is available in multiple languages, including British Sign Language.

The service can:

  • refer callers to emergency safe accommodation
  • provide information on legal, welfare and housing rights
  • provide online crisis and safety planning
  • provide emotional support and refer callers to counselling services.
