The CNWL Camden physiotherapy-led falls clinics, located in two Camden based clinics Belsize Priory and Hunter Street. Provide a weekly one-stop shop falls clinic for people who are ambulant.
The clinic offers an in-depth physiotherapy consultation that reviews areas such as balance, strength, and mobility, followed by a bespoke treatment session led by a rehabilitation assistant who can demonstrate home exercise programmes, provide suitable walking aids and give advice about staying active, local exercise groups, as well as falls education. The process takes approximately two hours to complete
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- ambulant patients who are at risk of, or who have suffered a fall
- all Camden residents.
Exclusions
- housebound
- severe cognitive impairment.
