How to Refer

Refer by phone

GPs in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey are required to contact the Crisis Telephone Service (CTS) when making a referral, available 24/7. If the line is not answered, leave a message. After receipt of the form, the referring clinician will receive a call back. Referrals via emails will not be accepted.

All calls are received and triaged in line with UK Mental Health Triage Scale. If a referral meets the criteria for CRHTT, the CTS clinician will pass on the referral to the relevant CRHTT team and a subsequent assessment will be arranged according to urgency of referral.

If a person is already supported by the trust and needs urgent care, contact their Care Coordinator or relevant team(s) in the first instance, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
