Semen Analysis: WH

Post-vasectomy analysis to establish the absence of sperm. This assesses the success of sterilisation by vasectomy.

Reasons to request a test include:

  • Determine fertility treatment suitability
  • Confirm success of procedure (e.g. vasectomy)

Patients should ensure they have abstained from sexual intercourse/ejaculation for between three and five days prior to testing.
