The Women's Diagnostic Unit at Whittington Health (WH) provides assessment and care for women and birthing people experiencing gynaecology emergencies.
The services and clinics includes:
- early pregnancy service
- walk-in service for emergencies during early pregnancy
- recurrent miscarriage clinic
- surgical treatment of miscarriage clinic
- emergency gynaecology service
- hysteroscopy clinic
How to Refer
Referral are accepted from GPs, midwifes, the emergency department, or other healthcare professionals.
Letter
Referral methods: Hand to Patient
Patients can be sent directly to the unit with a referral letter or GPs can phone to make an appointment if it is not urgent.
Self-referral
Patients can attend the walk-in service or self-refer to clinics by calling the number above.
