The Women's Safe Engagement and Recovery (WiSER) project is a partnership of specialist charities working to end male violence and abuse. It works with women who are frequently excluded from mainstream services and/or find it hard to engage with support.

The partnership offers outreach activity, trauma-informed approaches, and flexible one-to-one and group support, which helps women and girls to get the support they need.

WiSER can work with women to help them:

  • access safe housing and benefits
  • stay safe and improve health
  • engage in other support services
  • build self-esteem and confidence
  • access work, education and training
  • become financially independent.

Support is provided in English, Turkish, Bengali, Sylheti, Farsi, Kurdish and Arabic.
