Urology: UCLH

NCL Wide

University College London Hospitals (UCLH) provides a wide range of urology clinics, including the following sub-specialist teams:

  • andrology
  • male lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS)
  • female LUTS
  • functional, reconstruction and adolescent urology
  • kidney stones and endourology
  • reconstructive urology
  • urological cancers.

Please note: The functional, reconstruction and adolescent urology service is a tertiary service. GP referrals are only accepted if the GP is referring following the recommendation of a consultant in another urology department, or where the patient has previously had complex surgery under the team.

If you are referring to the UCLH male LUTS or female LUTS service, please note that the service is very small (less than 0.5 WTE consultant) and the wait time for an appointment could be significant. The primary care pathway for referrals to this service will be strictly followed. Please ensure you have completed the required investigations/interventions before referring.
