UCLH Neurological Rehabilitation Service: Cerebral Palsy

The service offers comprehensive multidisciplinary assessment and care to adults with cerebral palsy and neuro-disability. Patient referrals are accepted over 16 years of age.
The team is composed of a consultant neurologist, neuropsychologist, clinical nurse specialist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist and speech and language therapist.
The aims of the service are:
- help bridge the gap during transition from paediatric to adult services.
- offer specialist multi-disciplinary reviews tailored to your needs
- provide a key-working service as a point of contact for any concerns or queries
- help co-ordinate your care with other community services, specialist centres and healthcare professionals.
Services provided include:
- multi-disciplinary assessments
- transition clinics
- specialist therapy clinics
- nurse-led telephone
- video clinics.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- over 16 years of age
- long term management of Cerebral Palsy (acute problems should be referred to local Neurology Services).
