ScootAbility lends personal mobility vehicles (scooters, power chairs, manual wheelchairs) from one day to seven days at a time.
Training needs to be undergone before the applicant can receive the personal mobility vehicle. Home assessments should be completed to ensure suitable charging and storage facilities.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- resident of Camden or Islington
- aged 18+
- has trouble walking because of an injury, physical disability or medical condition, which is permanent and enduring
- should be able to read a car's registration number from a distance of 12.3 metres (40 feet).
