Lymphoedema Service: St John's Hospice

Camden

The lymphoedema service provided by St John's Hospice treats primary and secondary lymphoedema due to any cause, as well as chronic oedema.

Treatment aims to:

  • prevent infection (cellulitis) and hospital admission
  • prevent lymphorrhoea (leaking lymph fluid)
  • reduce swelling and correct shape distortion of limb
  • educate and support patients to self-care
  • improve limb function/mobility.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

  • Camden residents, aged 18 years and over with:
    • primary or secondary (non-cancer related) lymphoedema

How to Refer

Referrals by email are accepted from all healthcare professionals.
