The Infectious Diseases service at Royal Free Hospital looks after patients with all types of infection or suspected infection.
The unit has considerable experience in caring for patients with:
- infections acquired in the UK
- illnesses acquired overseas and in the tropics
- viral illnesses
- bacterial illnesses
- tuberculosis
- viral hepatitis
- fevers of unknown origin
