Drug & Alcohol Service for Young People

FWD provides one-to-one structured psychosocial intervention and group work sessions to young people in Camden affected by substance misuse or at risk of substance misuse (including impact of parental substance misuse).
Services include:
- community-based service with strong presence in youth clubs, schools and hostels
- advice and information and harm reduction interventions
- intensive, structured psychosocial interventions where substance misuse has become a significant concern
- structured recovery groups
- integrated CAMHS component and offers support for young people with co-existing problems/dual diagnosis
- work with young adults up to 25 who do not wish to engage with adult services and supports transitions, where required
- support to concerned family members
- tailored training for professionals.
