Diagnostic Spirometry: WH

Haringey

Patients may be referred for diagnostic spirometry or in some instances, for monitoring in the event of worsening symptoms. This will be determined by the clinician responsible for the care of the patient. The service provides diagnostic Spirometry and if requested/indicated, post-bronchodilator spirometry and reversibility studies FENO testing.

Diagnostic spirometry offers breathing tests to evaluate lung function, essential for diagnosing COPD and assisting in the diagnosis of asthma and other lung conditions. It provides post-bronchodilator spirometry and reversibility studies if needed, following ARTP spirometry guidelines.
