Compassionate Neighbours is a community-led scheme supporting people to be actively compassionate in their communities. The north London scheme is provided by North London Hospice.
Compassionate Neighbours provide social and emotional support and aim to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of people living with life-limiting illness who are feeling lonely or isolated.
Compassionate Neighbours can do things such as:
- weekly visits for a cup of tea and a chat
- offer friendship and a listening ear
- help people to do the things they like doing
- help people to stay connected to friends, family and the community.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- resident of Barnet, Enfield or Haringey.
