Age UK Barnet is a local charity working in the community to support older people, their families and carers.

• befriending service matching vetted volunteers with lonely and isolated residents
• dementia adviser service providing help and support to those living with dementia
• dementia befriending service providing companionship to older people living with dementia
• dementia day opportunities offering those living with dementia a chance to mix with others
• finding your feet service for those who recently suffered a fall/have lost confidence in their mobility
• handyperson service to help residents aged remain independent in their home
• footcare service for residents who can no longer do this themselves
• shopping service for people struggling to do their own shopping
• later life planning service helping older people plan for the challenges that ageing brings.
