Emergency Pregnancy Clinic: UCLH

The UCLH emergency pregnancy clinic is for pregnant women with pain or/and bleeding in early pregnancy, or pregnant women with high risk of an ectopic pregnancy.


Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

Pregnant women with either/both:

  • pain and/or bleeding in early pregnancy (up to 13 weeks and 6 days)
  • high risk of an ectopic pregnancy.

Self-referral

The Monday to Friday walk-in clinic operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to seriously unwell patients. 

Patients may experience long waits (up to four hours).


Locations

UCLH Emergency Pregnancy Unit

Monday to Friday 9am-12pm and 2-4.30pm; Saturday and Sunday 9am-12.30pm (on weekends, the patients needs to attend A&E first); Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve 9am-1.30pm.
