Provides free out-of-hours mental health crisis support. Available 365 days. 

Individuals can simply drop-in or be referred by a professional.

Support includes:

  • A non judgemental, safe space to talk about how you're feeling.
  • Information, referrals, and signposting to helpful services.
  • Drop in sessions for those moments when you really need to talk.
  • Planned one to one support, via telephone or in-person.
  • Help to create a recovery plan for your future wellbeing.
  • Emotional support from trained peer workers with lived experience.
  • Telephone interpreter support available for those who may struggle to communicate in English.

Opening hours 

  • Weekdays: 6pm – 10pm
  • Weekends and bank holidays: 2pm – 6pm

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

  • Aged 18+
  • Resident of Islington

Exclusions

  • Adults with dementia who require specialist dementia care services.
  • Children or adolescents (under 18 years old).
  • Individuals exhibiting violent or aggressive behaviour that poses a risk to themselves, staff, or others.
  • People with active suicidal ideation requiring immediate clinical assessment or intervention.
  • Individuals requiring detention or assessment under the Mental Health Act, including those detained under Section 136.
  • Individuals under the influence of alcohol or substances or individuals that cannot engage with the service due to ongoing substance use (services will manage this on a case-by-case basis).

How to Refer

Self-referral

Individuals can self-refer by telephone or visiting the service.

No appointment is required.
