This page provides basic information about a service suitable for self referral. Direct patients to the service provider using the details below.
Provides free out-of-hours mental health crisis support. Available 365 days.
Individuals can simply drop-in or be referred by a professional.
Support includes:
- A non judgemental, safe space to talk about how you're feeling.
- Information, referrals, and signposting to helpful services.
- Drop in sessions for those moments when you really need to talk.
- Planned one to one support, via telephone or in-person.
- Help to create a recovery plan for your future wellbeing.
- Emotional support from trained peer workers with lived experience.
- Telephone interpreter support available for those who may struggle to communicate in English.
Opening hours
- Weekdays: 6pm – 10pm
- Weekends and bank holidays: 2pm – 6pm
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- Aged 18+
- Resident of Islington
Exclusions
- Adults with dementia who require specialist dementia care services.
- Children or adolescents (under 18 years old).
- Individuals exhibiting violent or aggressive behaviour that poses a risk to themselves, staff, or others.
- People with active suicidal ideation requiring immediate clinical assessment or intervention.
- Individuals requiring detention or assessment under the Mental Health Act, including those detained under Section 136.
- Individuals under the influence of alcohol or substances or individuals that cannot engage with the service due to ongoing substance use (services will manage this on a case-by-case basis).
How to Refer
Self-referral
Individuals can self-refer by telephone or visiting the service.
No appointment is required.
