The Prosthetic Rehabilitation Unit (PRU), provided by the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), covers the provision, maintenance and repair of artificial lower and/or upper limbs, along with a rehabilitation service provided by a multidisciplinary team.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

  • those who have undergone amputation
  • those who may need an amputation
  • those (mainly children) with congenital limb loss or limb irregularity.

The centre is open from 8am-4pm for booked appointments. Emergencies can be accommodated at short notice.
