The Highbury Grove Crisis House provides a support service for short-term crisis interventions, including short-term residential stays, evening drop-in centre, and evening-overnight crisis telephone support.
The service comprises of two elements:
- Islington Crisis House
- open 24 hours a day and provides short-stay residential accommodation and support for up to two weeks, for 12 adults experiencing a mental health crisis
- during a two-week stay, one-to-one key working tailored to the customer’s needs is provided, as well as daily therapeutic group work sessions
- Crisis Night Centre
- offering out-of-hours drop in and telephone crisis support
- open every evening from 6.30pm-10.30pm, 365 days a year.
