Gender Identity Clinic for Adults: Tavistock & Portman

The Gender Identity Clinic offers holistic gender care through a multidisciplinary team comprising psychologists, psychiatrists, endocrinologists, speech and language therapists, and nurses, focusing on the biological, medical, psychological, and social aspects of gender for adults.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- aged over 17 years and 9 months (patients will not be offered an appointment before their 18th birthday).
Exclusions
- people with psychosexual issues in the absence of gender identity concerns
- people exclusively seeking breast augmentation, thyroid chondroplasty (tracheal shave), or cricothyroid approximation (vocal pitch) surgery (these interventions are no longer funded by NHS England Specialist Commissioning)
