Free Early Education & Childcare

Camden

This page provides basic information about a service suitable for self referral. Direct patients to the service provider using the details below.

Camden Council provides eligible two-year-olds with free early education and childcare places for up to 15 hours per week (570 per year). If a resident's immigration status says 'no recourse to public funds', they may still get free childcare for a two-year-old.

All three and four-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours a week of free early education from the term after their third birthday. Residents can contact childcare providers for further information on how to access a funded childcare place. Some three and four-year-olds may also be eligible for an additional 15 hours of free childcare.

Residents not eligible for the government-funded 30 hours for working parents (check eligibility on the Childcare Choices website) may be eligible for the Camden Enhanced Offer.
