Domestic Abuse Counselling Service

The Domestic Abuse Counselling service provides free, short-term therapeutic counselling support to male and female survivors of domestic violence and abuse, to improve their self-esteem, confidence and the motivation.

The service provides a baseline of one assessment session and up to 15 weekly counselling sessions, depending on the needs of the individual taking part.


Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

  • men and women aged 16+, who are
    • survivors of domestic abuse 
    • survivors of harmful practices of other forms of VAWG

Exclusions

  • perpetrators of domestic abuse or sexual violence
