Non-specific Symptoms Rapid Diagnostic Centre pathway

Wood Green CDC supports the Rapid Diagnostic Centre pathway from North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH) via its CT department. This enables faster imaging access for patients with non-specific symptoms such as unexplained weight loss, abdominal pain, or fatigue. The pathway helps to:

  • Rule cancer in or out
  • Recommend next steps
  • Suggest primary care follow-up where needed.

NHS Targeted Lung Health Check Programme

In collaboration with University College London Hospitals (UCLH), the Lung Health London pilot programme invites individuals aged 55-74 who currently smoke or have smoked in the past to:

  • an initial consultation with a healthcare professional
  • followed by a low-dose CT scan, if indicated.
