The Bereavement Peer Support Group aims to provide light touch social and wellbeing support for older adults in Haringey who are living with bereavement.

Delivered by six community connectors, the service is light touch and non-specialist, with a focus on signposting and short-term support to help over 50s in Haringey to build confidence, improve their wellbeing and to achieve their goals.

The weekly drop-in sessions will involve:

  • Conversation
  • Reflection
  • Refreshments
  • Activities towards promoting wellbeing
  • Informal information and advice
  • Opportunity to meet new people

Please note: The service does not provide specific bereavement support. However, it can support bereaved residents to get connected to other services and support to help them cope with bereavement.
