NCL Wide

Service offers an assessment of women with bleeding and or pain in early pregnancy i.e. up to 17+6/40. Also see women who have had previous miscarriages, ectopic, and molar pregnancies. 

For management of miscarriage, currently offer expectant, medical and surgical options, including MVA.

Day unit for women with hyperemesis in early pregnancy where they can have IV fluids and antiemetics as a day-case rather than being admitted.

Walk-in service for emergencies after discussion with on-call team (opening hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm)

Letter

Referral methods: Hand to Patient

Patients can be sent directly to the unit with a referral letter or GPs can phone to make an appointment if it is not urgent.
