Disclaimer: The EMIS clinical templates are intended to support processes and reviews and to aid data entry. They are not intended as a replacement for clinical judgement in the care of individual patients.
This page provides an overview of the EMIS IT Tools (clinical templates, searches and protocols) and release notes that have been developed by the IT & Systems Team and NCL colleagues to support NCL ICB programmes and projects.
The EMIS search folders are located in the NHS North Central London CCG - Enterprise Search and Reports tab within the EMIS Population Reporting module.
Most of the clinical templates and protocols detailed in the tables below are available within your EMIS system, via Resource Publisher.

Tools for Mental Capacity Assessment
This template supports GPs to assess and record the capacity of patients to make decisions at a specific time and make appropriate decisions for those assessed as lacking capacity. The template has been designed by a pan-London working group of GPs, ICB adult safeguarding leads, RCGP and NHS England.
