Parents in Mind is an eight-week free online programme aimed at parents and carers whose children and young people are open and known to CAMHS. 

The programme provides psychoeducational and broad strategies, as well as facilitates peer support for parents and carers whose young people experience mental health distress. 


Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

  • parents of young people (YP) aged 11-16
  • presenting criteria: anxiety, low mood/depression, self-harm, suicidal               

Exclusions

  • parents of YP under 11 and over 16
  • parents of YP with complex mental health difficulties, e.g. eating disorders, PTSD, significant learning disability
