Mental Health Recovery Team: South Camden

Providing interventions (intense and short term) to maximise recovery and optimise social inclusion. Suitable for those diagnosed with psychotic disorder (including bipolar).

Provides psychiatric review, prescribe medication and assessment of social-care needs. 


Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

  • aged 18+
  • Resident of the London Borough of Camden. For those people deemed to be of No Fixed Abode, attempts will be made to clarify the individual's usual place of residence and the referral will be made to the appropriate area.
  • Registered with a GP in the Borough. If not they should register with a local GP as quickly as possible. (NB some residents in Camden will be registered with GPs in other boroughs e.g. Westminster, Hackney - these residents will be eligible for services as decided by their PCT. Currently they are eligible to use Camden services).
  • People with significant mental health problems that are related to a psychotic illness, some of whom may also have a dual diagnosis.
     

Exclusions

  • Address is not in the London Borough of Camden
  • The person is under 18
  • People whose primary mental health need is not related to psychosis.
