Lung Cancer Screening offers a structured programme to detect lung cancer at an early stage through a series of steps, including a call to assess eligibility, a face-to-face risk assessment with a health professional, and if necessary, a low dose chest CT scan. CT scan results are reviewed and communicated back to patients and GPs within four weeks, helping facilitate timely further actions if needed.
