Early Homelessness Prevention Service: North London Housing Partnership

This service will complement existing homelessness prevention activity in the borough by providing an enhanced prevention service to agreed target groups of households at risk of homelessness.

The Navigator Officer will train staff on risk indicators (including community-based drop-in surgeries across GP practices) and develop a referral mechanism for housing advice and prevention interventions.

The service has been extended to 31 March 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

  • must have a local connection to Camden/Barnet/Islington/Enfield/Westminster
  • must have recourse to public funds
  • aged 18+
  • at risk of homelessness
  • clients who have not approached a local authority for assistance in the last six months
