Early Help: Children, Young People and Families

Islington

This page provides basic information about a service suitable for self referral. Direct patients to the service provider using the details below.

Early Help is available to families with children aged 0-19, providing support quickly and with minimal fuss before issues become more serious.

The service offers advice or information through The Family Information Service, local Bright Start children's centre or local Bright Start community venue.

When families need additional support for physical or mental ill health challenges, parenting issues, or practical difficulties such as debt, rent arrears or unemployment, the Early Help Services can step in. Support is provided by a lead professional, usually a Family Support Worker and is tailored to individual families. The focus is on building skills and resilience to help families manage and solve their problems effectively.
