Computerised tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, with some exclusions, are available for GP direct access appointments. If results not received, enquire by email.

Eligibility Criteria

Exclusions

CT

  • CT pulmonary angiograms: please refer patient to ED if pulmonary embolism is suspected.
  • CT cardiac 
  • CT under general anaesthetic/IV sedation

MRI

  • MR breast, MR arthrograms
  • Patients with clinically suspected cord/cauda equina compression should be admitted to A&E or UCLH ward. These scans are not performed as outpatient studies.
