CT & MRI Imaging: Royal Free Hospital
NCL WideProvided By
CT and MRI imaging services are available for GP direct access. Imaging services are provided across multiple trust sites, with a central contact point for healthcare professional enquiries. Patient results are returned to the referrer within 28 days. If not received, enquire by email.

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
Patients aged 18+ of all mobility and health conditions can be seen for
- CT abdomen and pelvis with contrast (suspected pancreatic cancer)
- CT KUB (specific referral criteria for patients with renal colic)
- CT head (suspected cancer if MRI is contraindicated)
- MRI for suspected brain cancer
- MRI CNS cancer
- MRI referral from Camden MSK
- MRI head referral from Camden Memory Service
Exclusions
- Patients who do not meet the above criteria must be referred to the relevant specialism within the trust.
For MRI
- Patients with pacemakers are excluded

Complete the Radiology Request – RFH form and email to rf-tr.radiologyenquiries@nhs.net
When referring a patient who needs hospital transport or who has mobility difficulties, please clearly mark this in the referral. This will help ensure that the trust has the appropriate number of staff during the patient's appointment and while they wait for their transport home.
