• free early years education eligibility checks
  • and support to find a suitable setting

  • oral health, healthy eating, introduction to solids and toilet training
• Healthy Start vitamins   
• food bank vouchers
• child health checks
• access to specialist support, advice and guidance, including speech and language, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy
• bespoke support, advice and guidance.

In line with the governments giving every child the best start in life strategy, Barnet will be introducing Best Start in Life Hubs, April 2026. The new hubs will be building on the successes of the children's centre's. They will continue to offer a range of services under one roof to support children and their families in the early years.
