Bladder & Bowel Child Incontinence Service: CNWL
CamdenProvided By
The Children's Bladder and Bowel Service offers person-centred support to children and young people by assessing and managing their bedwetting and daytime continence problems; and setting developmentally appropriate goals.
The service sees children who have bladder or bowel problems (including bed and daytime wetting and day time soiling).
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- registered with a Camden GP
- resident of Camden or go to a Camden-maintained school (reception class upwards).
Criteria for referral include:
- primary nocturnal enuresis
- daytime wetting, which has not responded to assessment and general toileting management by Health Visiting / School Nursing Teams
- stool withholding
How to Refer

Referral methods: Email
Children needing clinical assessment are either referred through the Single Point of Referral (SPOR); or through the School Nursing Service if further support is required following School Nursing intervention.
Complete the Bladder and Bowel Continence Paediatric Referral - CNWL and send to camdenschoolnurses@nhs.net.
