The Whittington Health NHS Trust’s Ambulatory Care (AEC) will be temporarily relocating due to essential works taking place on the hospital site.

The relocation has been planned to minimal disruption to patients and service delivery. However, to enable the move, AEC will be closed to referrals on Sunday 31 May. 

During this time, urgent referrals should be sent via the Emergency Department, where an AEC registrar will be available to discuss cases.

Intravenous (IV) iron infusions: temporary capacity limits

During the relocation period, only one IV iron infusion per day can be booked. Please ensure that any patients referred for iron infusions are aware that there may be a longer wait than usual. Appointments will be scheduled based on clinical priority.
