UCLH update: Temporary decommissioning of bone density scanner

NCL Wide

The UCLH bone density scanner will be decommissioned and replaced from Saturday 28 March.

To minimise backlog and any impact on the monthly diagnostics waiting times and activity (DM01) performance, the service will run extended lists where possible.

The scanner is expected to resume service on Monday 27 April, after which additional lists continue to be scheduled to bring DM01 performance back on track.

Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this period.

For any queries or concerns, contact Rayjanah Allie, UCLH General Manager, Nuclear Medicine or email UCLH.NucMed@nhs.net.
