On Thursday 26 September 2024, a capacity alert was implemented for Whittington Health’s suspected skin cancer service. As a result, the service will have limited capacity for accepting new suspected skin cancer referrals. If a patient needs a referral, it is recommended to consider alternative NCL skin cancer services. The capacity alert will remain in place initially for one month. The situation will be reviewed weekly and any decision to extend or remove the alert will be communicated through the NCL GP bulletin at the appropriate time.
