The British Medical Association recently announced that resident doctors intend to take industrial action, as part of a dispute with the Government on terms and conditions. 

The industrial action is set to take place from 7am on Friday 25 July to 7am on Wednesday 30 July. This action will have a material impact on the capacity of many practices in NCL.

As a result, NCL ICB has produced a toolkit to support practices with communicating to patients about how to access NHS services during the strike, if it goes ahead.

The toolkit includes:

• practice website message
• telephone message
• social media resources
• frequently asked questions.
