NCL Cancer Alliance supports the MENO.pause app to aid clinical decision making

NCL Wide

The MENO.pause app is a digital decision-making aid, developed at UCLH and supported by the NCL Cancer Alliance Innovation Fund. It is designed to assist primary and secondary care clinicians, as well as other healthcare professionals manage patients’ menopause symptoms effectively.

Built on national guidelines, including NICE and British Menopause Society, the app is appropriate for:

  • early, natural and complex menopause (including post-cancer)
  • high-risk populations (e.g. BRCA gene carriers)
  • hormone replacement therapy (HRT) selection and usage
  • management of complications, such as unscheduled bleeding

MENO.pause is free for all NHS clinicians and accessible on the Clinibee platform through the Apple app store, Google Play store, and a web interface. Register once to use the app across different devices. It additionally works alongside existing systems, like EMIS.
